Gamelan Concerts, Options Concert and Music Festival

The next two weeks are very much focused on music at Helena College.
Wednesday, 7 September is the Gamelan performance featuring Years 8-12.
Thursday, 8 September is the Gamelan performance featuring Year 7s.
Both concerts commence at 7pm in the Senior School performing arts centre. All families are welcome.
Helena College is one of only two schools outside Bali with a set of Gamelan orchestra instruments and we have been fortunate to have Dewa Alit, as musician in residence working with our students this term. If you’ve never been to a Gamelan concert this is your chance!

Thursday, 15 September is the Junior School Options Music Concert commencing at 6pm in the Senior School performing arts centre. All families are welcome.
Programmes will be available on the night.
Friday, 16 September and Saturday, 17 September are the dates for the Music Festival featuring musicians and performers from all over the hills community. On Sunday, 18 September a gala concert will be held, featuring invited performers from the Festival. These three days will be a musical treat. All families are welcome.
