We welcome you to visit the College and see the school in action before registering your son or daughter. Tours of the Junior and Senior Schools are conducted twice per term. Please see dates listed below. Tours offer prospective parents the opportunity to view the school in action on a normal school day. Contact the College Registrars at each school to enquire about current vacancies and to obtain an indication of future enrolment prospects in the required year level. Junior School enrolment officer Glenda Tarozzi (08) 9299 6626 Senior School registrar Anne Kinsella (08) 9298 9100 Early registration of your children is recommended. Registration is achieved by submitting the registration form and fee to secure a place in the enrolment register. The regular entry points are: - Junior School; Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year 1
- Senior School; Years 7, 8 and 11.
There may be the possibility of entry at other times, preferably mid or end of year. The order of priority for student enrolment at Helena College Senior School is: - those already enrolled at Helena College Junior School
- those with siblings at the College
- and then in order of registration date
For children entering at the regular entry points, an interview and tour of the College will be arranged (usually nine to eighteen months before the nominated commencement) if a position is available. When a casual vacancy becomes available, an interview and tour of the College will be arranged for the next family on the enrolment register. Following the enrolment interview, an offer of place will be sent with an Enrolment Agreement. On receipt by the College of the signed Agreement and the relevant Enrolment Fee the student's position is confirmed. Fees and Bursaries In managing the affairs of the College, Council attempts to maintain fees as low as is possible whilst maintaining the first-class education programs of the College. In special circumstances, temporary bursaries are made available to support members of the school community. Funds previously made available to support a scholarship program are now redirected to provide enrichment programs for gifted and talented students. Full Fee Overseas Students Helena College Senior School is registered to enrol full fee paying overseas students. Applications should be addressed directly to the Registrar. The Helena College CRICOS provider code is 01724M.
