Staff at Helena College are friendly and approachable. Parents are requested to make themselves known to the staff teaching their children. Meeting the teachers establishes a relationship and understanding of student needs and parent expectations that may help to ensure that suitable feedback and program flexibility can be considered by the staff. Whilst staff will attempt to facilitate class tasks in a manner that makes them accessible to all students, parents need to be tolerant of the limited degree to which individual teaching/learning programs can be implemented. Parents are asked to direct requests for extended or formal teacher interviews through the office staff to enable a suitable interview time to be established and the required information to be gathered.
