Glen Forrest (6-12)
Our Glen Forrest Campus is situated on more than eight hectares of bushland in Glen Forrest, giving our Years 6-12 students an enviable setting for academic, social, physical and emotional learning.
Significant areas of natural bush have been retained and are enhanced by the modern classrooms, sporting and other facilities. Our purpose built Year 6 area is the latest addition to the campus, which also includes an industry standard media centre, and state of the art food science building with a commercial kitchen.
The campus is also home to a materials design and technology centre, visual arts rooms (including kiln room), performing arts centre for music and drama, music tutor rooms, library resource centre, large gymnasium and sports facilities, school canteen, Year 12 common room and a uniform shop.
Outdoors there are shaded and covered areas, with a large oval and new hard courts for a variety of sports and other recreational activities. The gymnasium is used by our Junior and Senior students for sporting activities as well as for graduation ceremonies, whole school assemblies and awards nights.
Visitors to our Glen Forrest Campus are often surprised by the lack of bells or sirens to mark the change of classes or the end of day. Instead our College community moves around the campus backed by birdsong and the hum of learning. It’s the Helena way.
