Leadership is one of the most important skills that Helena College students can develop to be the best person they can be and to make the world a better place. At the Glen Forrest Campus students are offered opportunities to develop their leadership potential through a variety of roles across the year levels:
- Student elected Student Council, representing each homeroom for Years 6-12
- Peer Support Leaders (Years 10-11)
- House Captains (Year 11)
- Drama Captains (Year 12)
- Head Students (Year 12)
- Music Captains (Year 12)
Our students value their leadership roles within our College community and in addition to the formal roles, students also take time to volunteer at our after school Homework Club and as sports referees and coaches.
That commitment to others doesn’t end when our students graduate with many returning to help on school camps as ‘Year 13s’, valued members of the extended Helena community.
