Part of the College ethos is respect for, and care of the land. Our two campuses are built on land that was the traditional home to to the Noongar people.
Our College Houses acknowledge the Noongar people, the traditional custodians of this land.

- Kiara features the sulphur crested cockatoo
- Waughul features the rainbow serpent
Each student at Helena is proud to wear their House colours and to participate in Inter-house Swimming, Athletics, Cross-Country and Music Carnivals.
Leadership opportunities are offered to students to be elected as House Captains in Year 5 and in Year 11, to assist with assemblies, carnivals and other inter-house activities.
