A must for all parents and caregivers, this presentation covers strategies to help children and teens manage their cyber world effectively.
The cyber world changes almost daily so there will be something to learn even if you have been to a ySafe talk previously.
Thursday, 28 March 2019
6.15pm (for a 6.30pm start) until 8.30pm
Performing Arts Centre, Glen Forrest Campus
The talk is open to families from both campuses plus anyone from outside the Helena community who wants to know more about helping children and teens stay cyber safe.
Presenter Jordan Foster has been working with Helena College students and families on cyber safety for a number of years. As well as founding and running ySafe, Jordan is a clinical psychologist registrar at Headspace, Australia’s flagship youth mental health program. She has worked with children and adolescents to manage cyberbullying, image-based abuse and internet gaming addiction.
In 2018, Jordan was the recipient of a WA Young Achiever Award for her contribution to cyber safety education.
