Helena House Hall was the venue for a successful Boomerang Bag sewing session, organised by the Wasteless Pantry and Mundaring-in-Transition, and supported by the Helena College P&F.
Boomerang Bags are made from fabric and placed outside shops for people to borrow and then return. They encourage the use of recyclable alternatives and lessen single-use plastic bags.
Spread the word. Bring along friends to do something positive for the environment and make new friends.Come along and join in the creative fun (with a social and a sustainability purpose).
The next sewing day is Tuesday, 5 September. Email Mundaring in Transition for more details.
