Extra-curricular

As well as enjoying a variety of classes through the Electives Programme, Darlington Campus students have the chance to get involved in the following after-school activities.

One Big Voice (Years 3-5)

Darlington Campus students will perform with hundreds of other school children at this year’s One Big Voice, WA’s largest children’s choir festival. It’s a chance for our students to enjoy being part of a non-competitive massed choir, involving 80 schools and around four thousand voices.

Students will only get one rehearsal with the full choir on performance day – the real work is done in the weekly rehearsals at school, learning set songs and choreography.

  • Performance – Friday, 30 August at the Perth Arena
  • Contact Alysha McGreevy, Performing Arts Teacher.

Wakakirri (Years 3-6)

Students from the Darlington and Glen Forrest Campus are invited each year to participate in the College entry for Wakakirri, Australia’s largest performing arts event for schools.

Wakakirri aims to teach students about themselves and others through the creation and sharing of stories. Students perform a 3-7 minute story using dance, acting and creative movement.

  • Performance – 7 or 8 August at the Perth Concert Hall
  • Contact Adriana Martino Wakakirri Coordinator.
