Year 10 Curriculum
As the first year of Upper School, Year 10 represents an important transition for our students.
Having completed their IB Middle Years Programme (Years 6-9), their focus turns to the final stages of the school journey. In Year 10, they consolidate knowledge and skills developed so far and lay the foundations for success in Year 11 and Year 12.
During Year 10 students investigate their best options for Years 11-12 when they will undertake the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) which for many will include gaining their university entrance score (ATAR). Our teaching and executive staff support them to make course selections based on their individual strengths, interests and aspirations.
Year 10 programme

- Physical and Health Education
Electives – all students choose four subjects (two per semester) which may include:

Camps – students undertake a week-long expedition, either hiking through the Kalbarri Gorges or walking a section of the Cape to Cape track. As well, students may elect to take one of the College’s extra-curricular camps, at an additional cost, which might be language study trips, special interest trips and the World Challenge expedition.
