This year the Year 2 camp was held in September, during the last week of Term Three. It was a perfect way to end a busy term.
A very excited group of students arrived at Kerem Adventure Camp in Bullsbrook for our two day, one night stay. Favourite activities were the low ropes course and definitely the afternoon Colour War. The children demonstrated resilience and tenacity as they progressed around the low ropes course. Their teamwork, support and encouragement was unwavering.
The afternoon Colour War was so much fun. The children enjoyed the high stakes tug of war (to win the most colour) and the water balloon sniper attack (to steal more colour). Squeals of delight and colour splattered white clothes were the result of the final battle, with everyone coming out a winner.
After a delicious dinner, the children perfected toasting marshmallows by the campfire and then settled down to a well-earned night’s sleep. The next morning, the children enjoyed a hearty cooked breakfast followed by a round of disc golf, before heading back to school.
The photos show what a great bunch of happy campers these children are.
