Playgroups are every Wednesday during term in the Kindy room, with the 0-4 years playgroup from 8.50am-10.20am and our three year old programme from 12pm-2.30pm.
Parents and caregivers must remain with their child for the whole time during either playgroup.
There is a one-off fee of $35 for attendance, which also covers membership of Playgroup WA. The three year old programme also has a yearly payment of $50, covering admin costs.
Registrations are open for both playgroups in 2019.

Little Gumnuts playgroup (0-4 years) – 8.50am to 10.20am
Little Gumnuts is a great way for children to interact with others in a fun and safe environment, while parents get the chance to meet other families and make connections with the school environment.
The playgroup follows the community/family run model and works in conjunction with Playgroup WA to offer many benefits to parents and caregivers:
- Learning more child development
- Finding out about school readiness and school transition
- Developing relationships and networking with other local families
- Getting to know our College.
Kindergarten teacher, Kate Hill provides the connection between the playgroup and the College. Miss Hill is available during the sessions, bringing her knowledge of early childhood development, and, on occasions, presenting education sessions.
Three year old playgroup – 12pm to 2.30pm
Our three year old playgroup is a high quality, play-based programme run under the guidance of our experienced Early Childhood teacher, Kate Hill.
Parent-toddler playgroups are a lot of fun for all involved. They are also a valuable way for children to be involved in the social interaction that will help smooth their way into more formal learning at school.
Our three year old programme continues the play-based experiences of the early years playgroups as well as introducing children to the kind of experiences they will encounter when they enter school. Our afternoon playgroup includes time for lunch, outside activities and free play in our unique big backyard.
As well, parents will have the chance to learn more about how to best support their child’s learning, both during this year and beyond. The playgroup is also the chance for parents and caregivers to share their experiences and knowledge with each other, in a supportive and collaborative environment.
