Student Drivers
Year 12 Students may drive to school as a matter of privilege, not of right. Students must register their vehicles by completing a Student Vehicle Permission Form (available in the Administration Office and on SEQTA) to be registered to park. If any passengers are to be in the vehicle, their names must also appear on the form, along with an accompanying parent signature indicating permission.
Any changes to previously registered details (e.g., new passengers, new make/model etc.) must be re-registered on a new Student Vehicle Permission Form.
Please note only Year 12 Students may park on campus, and they may only park in the Year 12 Carpark area between the College Oval and Bilgoman Road. Our current Year 11s will be Probationary Drivers soon. Unfortunately, there is no parking available on the campus for Year 11 student drivers.
We also remind parents and guardians to not use the Year 12 carpark for pick-up.
Years 11 and 12 Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences
Save the date | Monday, 22 July
We have historically held a ‘Making Sense of the Results Night’ for Year 11 Families following the Semester One Exams. The messages shared that evening were generic and focused on success in Year 11 ATAR courses.
In response to parent feedback from the last survey, we have improved College communications with families about their child’s achievement. To further improve our communications with families about their child’s achievement, we will hold a second Parent-Student-Teacher Conference Evening. While the event is slightly shorter than the one held in March, it will follow a similar format.
Parent-teacher interviews will be conducted for Years 11 and 12 from 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm on the above date in the College Gymnasium.
We will send detailed booking information closer to the date. We look forward to seeing you there.
Uniform Reminders
Winter is Coming
Please remember that the College Sports Jacket is not part of the School Uniform. It is part of the Sports Uniform and worn during Physical Education classes and Inter-school sporting events. With the days getting colder and wetter, it is a timely reminder to get a College Jumper or a soft-shell jacket to prepare for the winter months ahead.
Skirt, Dress and Shorts length
While the College values high uniform standards, it is undesirable to commit an excessive amount of time and resources to enforce this policy at the expense of our core business, which is student learning. To this end, parental and student support is imperative for the College to maintain the uniform standards detailed in our Uniform Policy.
This is a timely reminder for students, parents, and guardians that the specified skirt, dress, and navy College shorts length should be just above the knee. Please amend the length of these uniform items or purchase new ones if required. Don't get caught short.
Year 12 Ball
A Report from the Ball Committee
As you all know, our Year 12 Ball Committee has been working very hard and is finalising decisions on a DJ, food options, the evening’s theme and decorations. Tickets will cost a mocktail on arrival, a three-course meal, free-flowing soft drinks throughout the night, a DJ, a professional photographer, table decorations, and a photo booth.
Just a reminder that Year 12 students are required to stay at school on the day of the Ball, Thursday, 29 June, until 12.15 pm, so please make sure all appointments for hairdressers, etc., are in the afternoon on that day. Be organised in advance with everything you need to do for the Ball so you can focus on your study program. There is no school for Year 12s on Friday, 28 June.
Regarding pre and post-school parties - please remember that there are specific laws on consuming alcohol and underage drinking and on providing alcohol to underage drinkers. Please take heed of these laws and remember that the school does not sanction any pre or post-ball parties.
If anyone arrives at the Ball under the influence of any illegal substances or attempts to consume them at the Ball, they will be IMMEDIATELY sent home in a taxi - at their expense.
This is a serious issue for the school in our duty of care responsibility, so please, parents and students, be responsible.
We are all looking forward to a wonderful evening and the social event of the year for our Year 12 students.
Thank you.
Craig Hillman, on behalf of the 2023 School Ball Committee

University News
Early Offers are not made until 2 September. All WA universities will open applications for 2025 on 1 May. The first offers will not be made until 2 September. This is a significant change that brings our procedures into line with other States and Territories. More information can be found HERE.
If your predicted ATAR is five points above the ATAR score required for your selected course, you’ll receive an early offer that secures your place in semester 1, 2025. Your offer won’t be dependent on your final year 12 ATAR score. You’ll still need to complete WACE and meet the English and subject requirements for your course. If your predicted ATAR is less than five points above the ATAR score required for your course, you’ll still receive an early offer for a place at Curtin. You’ll need to achieve a final ATAR that meets course entry requirements, and meet WACE, English and subjects’ requirements for the course. Apply through TISC from 1 May and choose Curtin as your first preference.
Key Contact
Applicants must have a minimum predicted ATAR of 80 (Broadway ATAR of 78) and meet the entry requirements for their nominated course to receive an offer. Register for updates HERE.
Key Contacts
When evaluating your eligibility, we consider your involvement in extracurricular activities, community service and other non-academic accomplishments. Early offers do not apply to Bachelor of Biomedical Science or the Bachelor of Advanced Biomedical Science pathway to the Doctor of Medicine programs.
Key Contacts
If you're in Year 12 and have a predicted ATAR, or you're completing a Certificate IV or a recognised university enabling course that leads to undergraduate study, you can apply for an early offer for an ECU course.
We'll use your most recent school results to calculate a predicted ATAR and if this meets the requirement for your nominated course, you'll receive a conditional early offer of a place. This will be subject to you achieving WACE and meeting the English requirements and any other prerequisites for your course (where relevant).
If you're studying a Certificate IV or enabling course, or if your predicted ATAR doesn't quite meet the minimum entry requirements for your course, you'll still be eligible for an early offer that’s conditional on you meeting all entry requirements for your preferred course. That means achieving the required ATAR with your final results or completing your Certificate IV or enabling course. You'll also need to achieve WACE and meet the English requirements and any other prerequisites for your course.\
